COVID 19

Noël Kingsley’s practice for the Alexander Technique will be open from

MONDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER 2020

We are really looking forward to seeing you again for Alexander Technique lessons, but as you will expect there are adjustments to the way we work owing to the Covid 19 epidemic.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES CAREFULLY

Lessons can be booked from 14th September 2020

All working practices will be in accordance with Government Guidelines.

Appointment times are being readjusted to allow time for hygienic antibacterial cleaning of the Alexander teaching room between each and every appointment throughout the day and regular cleaning of the toilet and waiting room etc.

Appointments will be made on the hour from 8.00am to 3.00pm. The lesson time will remain as 40-45 minutes.

If  you are showing symptoms of Covid 19, please call and cancel the appointment. Cancellations for other reasons, 24 hours notice is requested.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY SYMPTOMS WITHIN THE LAST 14 DAYS

—————————-

Please try to arrive on time for your appointment to allow for cleaning and to avoid overlap with other clients.

Please maintain social distancing while on the premises of 1-2 metres.

If you are carrying a bag this will be stored in a disinfected bag container during the lesson.

Please bring bottled water with you as our normal dispenser is not operating during this period for reasons of hygiene.

You will be required to wear a face mask at all times, from the moment you arrive until you leave the premises. You will wear the mask during the lesson. Please bring one with you.

You will remain in your normal day clothing throughout the lesson. You cannot change clothing at the practice. Footwear should be removed for the lesson so you are in stocking feet. If you come not wearing socks, please bring a pair with you so you can put them at the beginning of the lesson. Barefoot is not permissible during the lesson.

The Alexander teaching room is a NO GLOVES ZONE. You will be required to use hand sanitisers on arrival and departure. Sanitisers are available in the waiting room, in the teaching room and toilet. Please do not wear rubber gloves.

The Alexander teacher will NOT WEAR GLOVES during the lesson as they would reduce the effectiveness of the hands-on work. Frequent hand washing and sanitisation will be conducted by the teacher before, during and after each lesson. The teacher will be wearing PPE face mask, visor and clinic clothing.

All precautions to avoid infection are being taken but it is impossible to avoid risk entirely. You will therefore be asked to sign a COVID 19 Alexander Lessons WAIVER on arrival.

Your temperature will be taken on arrival by means of a ‘no contact’ infrared thermometer and the reading will be kept on record along with your contact details for Track and Trace purposes.  If there are any signs of abnormal temperature or other symptoms the lesson will not be conducted.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES.
